The Patriots signed Dixon to the practice squad Monday.
The Patriots waived Dixon last Saturday in preparation for last Sunday's cutdown day. The wide receiver cleared waivers and has returned to the team on the practice squad. The undrafted free agent out of Culver-Stockton played in the final two preseason games for the Patriots, catching all 10 of his targets for 81 yards.
