The Texans waived Hamilton (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Hamilton will head to waivers just over a week after first reverting to the team's injured reserve. The 23-year-old missed the entirety of last season due to an ankle injury and will now look to get healthy and catch on with another team.
