Reynolds (undisclosed) was released with an injury settlement by New England on Thursday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
The specifics of the injury remain unclear, but Reynolds was originally expected to compete for a special-teams role this offseason. The Virginia product suited up in all 16 games for Atlanta last season, recording 13 tackles (eight solo) and one forced fumble.
