Humphrey was released by the Broncos on Friday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.
Fullback Adam Prentice was elevated from the practice squad, so Humphrey was released in a corresponding move. However, assuming Humphrey wants to remain with the Broncos, there's a good chance the team will bring him back, even if it means as a member of the practice squad.
