Lions' Derrick Moore: Exits practice with groin injury

Moore left Sunday's training camp practice early to be evaluated for a groin injury, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

The results of that evaluation will determine the next steps for Moore, who was a second-round selection of the Lions in the 2026 NFL Draft. The rookie out of Michigan is competing for rotational snaps at defensive end behind starters Aidan Hutchinson and D.J. Wonnum, with Tyler Lacy, Tyre West and Trevor Nowaske serving as Moore's main competition.
