Chark (ankle) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Even with the bye week Chark still wasn't able to get on the practice field this week, essentially setting the stage for this designation. The speedy wide receiver won't be eligible to return until mid-November, leaving the likes of Josh Reynolds (ankle), Tom Kennedy and Kalif Raymond to take on an expanded role.
