Williams caught five of nine targets for 121 yards and a touchdown while adding a 13-yard run in Sunday's 26-20 overtime win over the Rams.

Williams accounted for 121 of Jared Goff's 217 passing yards, outperforming the combined receiving contributions of Sam LaPorta (45 yards on five targets), Jahmyr Gibbs (34 yards on six targets) and Amon-Ra St. Brown (13 yards on six targets). The highlight of Williams' night was a 52-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter on which he left cornerback Tre'Davious White in the dust. Detroit's other premier pass catchers won't always be so quiet, but Williams appears to have finally carved out a prominent role after two disappointing seasons. The speedy wide receiver will look to build on this encouraging performance in Week 2 against the Buccaneers.
