Goff didn't participate in Wednesday's walk-through practice due to an illness, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
The Lions are dealing with a small flu outbreak at the moment, with Goff seemingly the biggest name to be told to stay home Wednesday. He's coming off NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors for his performance in the team's first win of the season this past Sunday, when he completed 25 of 41 passes for 296 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in a 29-27 win over the Vikings. Goff will have two more chances to get back on the practice field this week in advance of Sunday's game in Denver.
