Goff (oblique) was listed as a limited participant on Monday's estimated practice report.

Though Detroit didn't hold a traditional practice Monday one day after a 13-10 loss to the Browns, Goff's limited listing seemingly provides a more optimistic outlook about his health after he was listed as a non-participant in each of the Lions' past three practices. Because of the quick turnaround Detroit faces for its Thanksgiving Day matchup with Chicago, Goff could face an uphill battle to prove to the coaching and training staffs that he's healthy enough to play through the oblique injury. Tim Boyle stepped in as the Lions' starting quarterback against Cleveland and struggled to move the offense, so there's a chance that he cedes the starting role to third-stringer David Blough even if Goff is ruled out for a second straight game.
