Goff (oblique) was listed as a limited participant on Tuesday's estimated practice report, but head coach Dan Campbell said he's "leaning" in the direction of having the quarterback start the team's Thanksgiving Day game against the Bears, Eric Woodyard of ESPN.com reports. "It's 60 percent [that Goff starts], leaning toward 50-50," Campbell joked, noting that Goff looked good in the Lions' walk-through practice.

The Lions might have a difficult time gauging where Goff stands in his recovery from an oblique injury while the team runs practices at less-than-normal intensity this week due to the quick turnaround for Thursday's game, but both the coach and the quarterback himself expressed positivity about his health. Specifically, Goff told Justin Rogers of The Detroit News that he "feels good" and views himself as a "game-day decision," comments that just about line up with what Campbell had to say about the matter. If Goff plateaus or takes a step back in his recovery and is forced to miss a second straight game, the Lions haven't made it clear if Tim Boyle would be in line for another start, or if No. 3 quarterback David Blough would get a look after Boyle mostly underwhelmed in his season debut during last week's 13-10 loss to the Browns.
