The Lions elevated Cabinda to the active roster Saturday.
Cabinda rejoined the Lions on their practice squad Tuesday after being cut by the team Dec. 29 to sign kicker Michael Badgley. Cabinda played in Detroit's first three games of the season, logging 26 snaps on offense and 54 snaps on special teams, and rushed for zero yards on his lone carry.
