The Lions signed Thomas to a reserve/future contract Tuesday.
Thomas was waived off IR by the Colts with an injury settlement and didn't appear in a game during the 2021 campaign. He's appeared in just 11 contests for three different teams (Houston, Arizona, New England) since recording 20 receptions for 215 yards and four touchdowns across 16 appearances during his rookie season in 2018.
