Davenport suffered a season-ending tricep injury in Sunday's 20-13 win over the Cardinals, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Though the exact details surrounding Davenport's injury aren't known, he presumably is dealing with at least a partial tear of his tricep and will require surgery. Injuries have been an issue for the defensive end, as he has played just six games over the past two seasons and may have played a part in him settling for a one-year, $6.5 million deal with the Lions in free agency this offseason. Over his two games with Detroit, Davenport recorded two tackles and a half sack.
