Stafford appears to have injured his finger in Sunday's 20-17 victory over the Bears. He still played the entire game and compiled 223 yards passing, one touchdown and two interceptions to go along with 15 yards rushing.
Stafford predictably regressed from his Week 13 output against the Saints. In fact, he was markedly worse, considering he threw multiple interceptions for the first time since a Week 4 matchup with this same Bears squad. He also compiled one of his lowest passing yardage totals of the season on a mediocre 60 percent completion rate. The severity of the finger injury isn't certain, but Stafford was seen after the game with his right middle finger wrapped in gauze, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. The quarterback noted in the post-game conference he planned on receiving X-rays. Look for an update on his status in the coming days, but at this point in time, he's far from a lock to start next week at the Giants.
