Patrick reverted to the Lions' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers marked Patrick's first game action since Jan. 8, 2022. Since then, he endured back-to-back season-ending injuries that wiped away the 2022 and 2023 campaigns entirely. Patrick played a modest 39 percent snap share and turned it into two catches (on three targets) for 12 yards, a workload that he may be able to sustain in the short term with WRs Amon-Ra St. Brown (lower leg) and Isaiah Williams (abdomen) tending to injuries at the moment.
