Turner was signed to the 49ers' practice squad Wednesday.
Turner was let go by San Francisco in August with an injury settlement, but he will now return to the team. With Brandon Aiyuk (knee) done for the season, Turner will provide the 49ers with another depth option at wide receiver down the stretch.
