The Saints cut Hunt from the roster Saturday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Hunt earned a contract with the Saints this offseason after he accumulated 17 tackles (14 solo) across 16 games for the Colts last season. Hunt likely won't be a free agent long, as he could be brought back by the Saints should injuries occur or land on the practice squad.
