Spencer (undisclosed) was placed on the Broncos' practice squad COVID-19 list Thursday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Spencer was promoted to the active roster in Week 17 against the Chargers and tallied a tackle on 14 defensive snaps. Any chance Spencer has of returning to the active roster for Week 18 against the Chiefs hinges being able to clear protocols quickly.
