Tell (undisclosed) was placed on the practice squad injured list Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.
Tell has spent the entire season on the Colts' practice squad, though it's unclear what is keeping him sidelined. He'll be out for at least the team's next three games.
