Boone signed with the Panthers' practice squad Wednesday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.
Boone spent last season in Houston before he was waived, and he then inked a deal with Carolina's practice squad in early 2024. The veteran running back was expected to rejoin the Panthers' practice squad ahead of the coming campaign after winning over the coaching staff in camp.
