Buffalo released Edwards on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Edwards had played just seven defensive snaps over three games through Week 9, so he asked to be released ahead of Week 10, and the Bills obliged. He'll now look for another opportunity with a different team.
