Pennel (undisclosed) has signed a deal to be on the Falcons' practice squad.
Pennel was released from the Bears with an injury settlement ahead of Week 1, but he has now agreed to join Atlanta's practice squad. The defensive tackle will fill a depth role for the Falcons' defensive line and will likely only play if Atlanta's line suffers any injuries. The veteran played in 14 games for Kansas City last season.
