Cottrell (undisclosed) was waived with an injury designation by the Jaguars on Sunday.
Cottrell signed a reserve/future contract with the Jaguars in January but now is at risk of missing the entire 2022 season. If he goes unclaimed, he'll revert to IR and be unable to play this year, unless he reaches an injury settlement with Jacksonville.
