The Giants waived Rourke on Sunday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Rourke was the odd-man out of the backup quarterback competition between Drew Lock and Tommy DeVito. Should he clear waivers, Rourke will be in the market for a team looking to add an emergency quarterback to its practice squad.
