The Lions waived Muse on Sunday.
Muse signed with the Lions last Monday to fill in for Tyler Conklin (knee) as a depth tight end. With Conklin returning to the active roster, Muse's role was no longer necessary. Muse will now be placed on waivers, and if he clears will become a free agent able to sign with any franchise.
