The Packers placed McGough on the active/PUP list Wednesday with an undisclosed injury, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
McGough can be activated at any time throughout training camp and the preseason, once healthy. The 28-year-old spent the entire 2023 season on Green Bay's practice squad as a quarterback, but head coach Matt LaFleur announced in May that McGough had made a position change to receiver. McGough has yet to take a regular-season snap in the NFL since entering the professional ranks in 2018.
