Lazard will not play in Saturday's preseason opener against the Texans, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
With starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers out Saturday, Lazard will sit out as well. Lazard is not listed as a starter on the Packers' current depth chart, but the team figures to utilize three wide receivers plenty, so he should still see the field quite a bit.
