Love, who signed a four-year extension worth $220 million and $155 in full guarantees Friday, is practicing with the team Saturday, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.
Love had been doing a hold-in of sorts until he had officially signed the much-rumored mega extension to begin training camp, and as expected the new highest paid player in the NFL took to the field Saturday alongside his quartet of capable pass catchers, including Jayden Reed (toe), who was activated off the non-football injury list earlier this week. Love is expected to build off the scintillating end to his lone season as a starter, in which he tallied 2,905 passing yards and a remarkable 25:5 TD:INT ratio over the final 11 regular-season games plus two postseason contests.
