Mercilus (biceps) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.

Mercilus' move to IR is a formality after it was announced Monday that he was done for the season. He was able to make an impact in a limited time for the Packers, appearing in four games and notching three sacks after joining them on Oct. 21.
