Mayfield (ankle) was present but wasn't in uniform for Wednesday's practice, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.

Newton notes that the quarterback wasn't sporting a walking boot on his left foot, and Mayfield appeared to be moving well Wednesday while doing running drills, according to Joe Person of The Athletic. Meanwhile, Sam Darnold (ankle) has been designated to return from injured reserve and was at practice Wednesday, as was PJ Walker (neck), who started last week's loss to the Rams but suffered an injury.
