Gano finished with 15 points in Thursday's win over the Cowboys, converting on 4-of-5 field-goal attempts and knocking down all three of his extra-point tries.
The Panthers controlled the clock through much of the game, but their failure to convert on eight of their 16 third-down chances worked to the benefit of Gano. A blocked kick by the Cowboys on his final attempt from the field was the only thing that stood in the way of a perfect day for Gano, who has recorded double-digit points in four of his last five games.
