King (coach's decision) is inactive but operating as the Panthers' emergency No. 3 quarterback against the Packers on Thursday night, Darin Gantt of the team's official website reports.
King will once again serve as the team's emergency QB for the seventh game in a row. The rookie would only be eligible to enter the game if both starter Bryce Young and primary backup Kenny Pickett are forced out of the contest.
