Phillips (back) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
Phillips didn't practice Wednesday but was back out there for Thursday's session. While his presence at practice was an encouraging sign, his status is still worth monitoring ahead of the Week 3 meeting with the Browns. The 27-year-old has played in both of the Panthers' games during the 2026 campaign thus far, amassing five total tackles and 2.0 sacks.
