Carter finished with six tackles (three solo) in Sunday's 41-17 loss to the Buccaneers.
Carter trailed only Myles Hartsfield in stops, with his tally including one tackle for loss. In 17 games this season, Carter had the most productive statistical campaign of his four-year career, racking up 88 tackles, including 8.5 stuffs at the line of scrimmage and recovering a fumble. The former fifth-round pick will now see what his value is as an unrestricted free agent this offseason, with it currently being unclear whether the Panthers will attempt to re-sign him.
