Jewell (groin) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Chargers.
Despite practicing in a limited fashion both Thursday and Friday, Jewell will suit up for the Panthers in Week 2. Now that the 29-year-old is past his groin injury, he's expected to start alongside Shaq Thompson as part of Carolina's top inside linebacker duo Sunday.
