Burris finished the 2020 season with 53 tackles (34 solo) and an interception on four passes defended in 13 games played.
Burris started a career-high 12 games in his first season with the Panthers, finishing sixth on the team in tackles while posting a personal best in the category as well. That output should keep him in Carolina next season, when the defense hopes to continue its development under coordinator Phil Snow.
