Norwood, who was carted off the field Thursday, has a hip pointer, Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer reports.
It looks as if the injury isn't too severe for Norwood despite initial concerns. There is currently no timetable for the wide out's return, but with the young receiver still fighting for a spot on Carolina's final roster, he'll be looking to get back on the field as soon as possible.
