The Panthers elevated Wright to the active roster Saturday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
The move comes with Eddy Pineiro (hamstring) listed as doubtful ahead of Sunday's regular-season finale against the Buccaneers. Wright has jumped around multiple practice squads this season before linking up with the Panthers on Tuesday. He'll suit up for Week 18 if Pineiro is ruled out.
