Farley reverted to Carolina's practice squad Monday.
Farley started at safety during Sunday's loss to the Dolphins with Xavier Woods (hamstring) and Vonn Bell (quadriceps) both out. The 31-year-old logged five tackles (four solo) while playing all but four defensive snaps and could be activated again Week 8 versus the Texans if either Woods or Bell can't play.
