Walker did not complete his only passing attempt after replacing Sam Darnold (concussion) in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 19-13 win over the Falcons.
Walker saw action for the second straight game, but this time he entered due to Darnold being injured rather than being ineffective. Although the Panthers being on the three-yard line when Walker entered immediately gave him a chance to throw a touchdown, the signal-caller couldn't capitalize on his opportunity. With Carolina declining to pass on a pair of three-and-out drives afterward, Walker's exposure was limited, but he may be forced to lead the team if Darnold isn't cleared ahead of Week 9's matchup versus the Patriots.
