Bonnafon was elevated from the Panthers' practice squad Saturday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Bonnafon has spent three of the team's last four games on the active roster, though he's racked up only one carry and two receptions in that span. He figures to remain behind Chuba Hubbard and Ameer Abdullah on the running back depth chart Sunday against Tampa Bay.
