Darnold completed one of two passes for 16 yards in Saturday's preseason game against Baltimore.

Darnold's completion was to his former Jets teammate Robby Anderson, whose appearance hopefully marked an end to the hamstring issue that kept the wideout out of training camp recently. Darnold goes into the regular season with an uncertain projection in Carolina, but with Anderson, DJ Moore and Terrace Marshall at receiver he'll have his best playing situation to this point in his NFL career.
