Tremble (hamstring) is not slated to play in Thursday's preseason opener against the Patriots, Kassidy Hill of the team's official site reports.
The same applies to fellow TE Ian Thomas, who is dealing with a calf injury. The duo's next chance to suit up will arrive Saturday, Aug. 17 against the Jets. Tremble and Thomas are listed as co-starters on the Panthers' initial unofficial depth chart.
