Scott (shoulder) signed a one-year contract with the Panthers on Tuesday, Alaina Getzenberg of the Charlotte Observer reports.
Scott was set to be a restricted free agent this offseason, but he's agreed to another year in Carolina. The 27-year-old started four games last season. He's expected to take on a depth role once again in 2021.
