Hoyer (illness) was put on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
The backup quarterback tested positive for the virus Tuesday and will likely be unavailable for Sunday's contest against the Jaguars. With Hoyer on the shelf, Jarrett Stidham will likely operate as the top reserve option behind starter Mac Jones.
