Coach Bill Belichick said Wednesday that Cowart (undisclosed) will remain on the PUP list, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Cowart was placed on the reserve/PUP list prior to the start of the regular season, and though he was designated for a return Oct. 20, he will ultimately remain sidelined for all of 2021. The 2019 fifth-round pick will focus his attention toward getting healthy for 2022.
