Davis (neck) has been ruled out ahead of Thursday night's game against the Bears.
Davis did not participate in Monday's practice but ended the Patriots' short Week 7 prep with back-to-back limited sessions. Despite the upgrade in practice participation, the cornerback is not quite ready to return to the field and will miss his third consecutive game with a neck injury. Charles Woods should once again start opposite Christian Gonzalez at outside cornerback.
