Jones completed 12 of 18 pass attempts for 139 yards, a touchdown, an interception and a fumble lost in Sunday's 24-6 win over Carolina.
The 18 pass attempts marked the lowest total for Jones this season, as the Patriots' defense (one TD) and rushing attack (39 attempts for 151 yards and a TD) did the heavy lifting against the Panthers. The poised rookie is averaging 237.2 passing yards per game with a 10:7 TD:INT ratio through nine contests. The Patriots lost Rhamondre Stevenson (head) and Damien Harris (head) to injury Sunday, so Jones may be relied upon more heavily against a tough Browns defense should both backs miss next week's contest.
