Brown's contract voided Monday after he failed to reach an extension with the Patriots, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
The Patriots will carry a $2 million dead cap into 2024 as a result. The 30-year-old Brown has spent his previous three seasons in New England, playing 11 games in 2023 and starting eight.
