Brown (illness) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Jets, Zack Cox of NESN.com reports.
The 30-year-old offensive lineman was unable to practice all week due to an illness, so it's no surprise that he'll be inactive Sunday. Vederian Lowe is expected to get the nod at left tackle in Brown's stead.
